With our Classic Ford Show cancelled for the 2nd year, it was really refreshing to get our Fords out for our Classic Ford Run to the Lizard Peninsula.
So just after 10.00am, we left Tricky's with 17 Fords and headed to Helston.
Our first planned stop was at Poldhu just outside Helston, however with the beautiful weather, the car park was full. So we carried on through Mullion and on to our next stop The Lizard, this time we were lucky and managed to park up.
Once fed and watered, we made our way through Kuggar, Goonhilly Downs and on to Coverack, the views here were breathtaking with the gorgeous weather.
We then headed to St Keverne and on to Porthallow for our 2nd Stop, most of the members had never been here, so we stayed for around 30 minutes.
Once back in the Cars we made our way on some good old Cornish roads to Gillan, Manaccan, St Martin, Mawgan and to our finish at Helston Boating lake for a well-deserved Ice Cream.
Many Thanks to Jeremy for organising a fantastic run and to all the members and guests that attended.
