Members Mark, Glen, Mark C and Tracy met at Chiverton Roundabout Services for an early 8.00am start.
We then drove to Truerulefoot where we met members Luke and Paul Tame (who was out with us for the first time).
We had made good time to Truerulefoot, but this was about to change as we soon got into a queue and it took us almost an hour to do 14 miles!
With the hot weather, a couple of our cars were running warm, but we made it - although we did see 4 or 5 cars that had boiled up.
Once at the show there was plenty to see and do, with loads of classic cars and stalls.
There were some cool Classic Fords which we hadn’t seen before, and after chatting with them they seem keen to come to our show in 2023.
Hopefully we have gained 2 new members, both with very rare stunning Fords, a Mk2 Escort Harrier and a Capri RS2600.
We finally left at around 4.30pm and made our way back to Windy Ridge for refreshments.
