Saturday
Saturday was predicted to be the best day weather wise and there was a good showing of cars. Members Mark, Winston, Lee, Carl and Kevin graced our Club stand and we also welcomed Martin Chapman with his very tidy XR3i, who hopefully will be joining us soon. There were some other great Fords including Tony Mitchell's Mk2 Cortina with a recently fitted Rover V8 - stunning! Saturday evenings entertainment included a couple of bands - firstly a Blues Brothers tribute band and then 'The Qwest' who were excellent - after a few beers!!! We (Mark, Steve and Liam) decided to call it a night.
Sunday
Sunday dawned a little wet and overall there were fewer cars but our Club stand was really well supported with Jerry, Ian, Geoff, Chris, Paul, Marlene, Andy, Shaun and Stephen joining us to make it up to 12 cars. Due to the weather, there was still quite a few bargains to pick up at the Autojumble. Overall there were fewer tractors, steam and motorcycles this year, I hope this show builds and survives in the future.
Cars however did very well, especially on Saturday - which is a credit to the car secretary Jason Goss.
