We left Trickys at 10.30 with 16 Classic Fords and headed to Truro, the sun made an appearance and the forecast was predicting dry weather for about 4 hours.
On leaving Truro we headed to Tresillian, then on to St Mawes, where it was unusually rather quiet, although a few people were recording us. From St Mawes it was then on to The King Harry Ferry, once loaded the cars looked really cool. It was then a short drive to The Punchbowl & Ladle for a welcome lunch.
Once very well fed and watered by the excellent Punchbowl, it was on to Falmouth and Castle Drive, by now rain had arrived. From Falmouth it was on to Helston which was looking a bit brighter. Once in Helston we made our way to our destination the boating lake for a coffee/ice cream break.
I would like to thank:
Winston who booked the ferry with a discount Graham and all the staff at The Punchbowl & Ladle All the members for supporting this Classic Ford Run and Alan Hicks who joined us on the day with his Mk2 Fiesta.
