On the lovely sunny morning of the 4th August, club members gathered at Inn For All Seasons, and at around 8:30am they head down to Ruan Minor Rally, with 12 cars in convoy. We were among the first to arrive and we were excited to see how many would be attending. Soon, the field started to fill up. Club members Jake, with his Escort, and Barrie, with his 100E, arrived although they were too late to park on our club stand!

By midday, the field was full with over 200 cars and a few tractors and motorbikes. There was quite a few Fords on display, most notably for me was Frank with his AC Cobra with Ford running gear - he has now joined us as a member. We also met the owner of a Mach 1 Mustang who is keen on joining us too.

All in all, a great show and well worth a visit next year. Many thanks to organiser Steve and all those at Ruan.
