Rosudgeon Rally Sunday 15th September 2024

Writer's picture: Mark RobertsMark Roberts

Club members met at the Inn for all Seasons, on a cool September morning, in preparation for Rosudgeon Rally. We totalled 12 club members, and left at 8:30am to convoy on down to the show. Club chairman Mark led the convoy in his Cortina, so a steady pace was order of the day.

Club cars parked up.

Once at Rosudgeon, we were directed to our allocated space, and set up our club cars and flags. We were later joined by club member Jerry in his RS2000, which made 13 cars. The weather held out and it was a really fantastic day - a plentiful array of car boot stalls to look around selling everything from car parts to bric-a-brac. There was really great attendance from the public, and we joined them in looking around the other cars on display. There was a nice turnout of Fords at this event, including another club member, Alan with his 'sleeper build' Fiesta. Our favourite non-member Ford was the Mk2 Zodiac in green with a cream bottom half - a really stunning car.

A duo that most of you will recognise - club members, and brothers, Treve & Chris with their stunning American Fords!

As always, the club thanks the organisers, especially Glen, for their kindness and hospitality. These events couldn't be run without the amazing teams behind them!

Until next time,

Mark
